  • That said, instructors are trained to duly promote student independence, initiative, and critical thinking in every stage and aspect of training, and in any particular sub-test, rather than being deliberately prescriptive, or unduly dogmatic.   • IELTS review shouldn’t really teach knowledge. The knowledge has already been imparted in many years of basic and higher education. English has been taught many years, and students for the IELTS exam shouldn’t expect to go back to the fundamentals anymore. IELTS itself is really a content-based test anyway, rather than a grammar test. So worry not if you do feel your grammar flaws will stand in the way of your target scores. Grammar is important, but in the IELTS, content is ultimately the determinant of higher scores.

  • Instead, IELTS review should train for skills. This is achieved through extensive practice opportunities. It is through drilling where scores improve over time. As research in the IELTS has shown, it is in intensive practice where one’s skills abilities improve, not through a laborious emphasis on rules or rote-based techniques. In the IELTS review, application should be king!
  • As mentioned earlier, the IELTS is really a test that gives greater weight on content. In fact, in the real world, people do not really use grammar the way it is taught in the academy. Native speakers, in particular, as multiple studies have shown, are the most notorious rule-breakers of language, and they do this deliberately and with pride. So do just focus on content more, and if you do have grammar flaws, this will be corrected over time, and precisely through practice, practice, practice. Keep the English basic and simple, avoid tendencies to be superfluous (unless you can), and you can still hit your target scores, as long as you concentrate on content.

When a student completes the output-based requirements, their passing rate lands at a high 90%.

  • But what we’ve long noticed about all the Dreamcatchers is that they all share one very common trait – they all share the indefatigable conviction to pass. What this means is that their determination is so strong that they don’t tire at all, especially when hurdles and hindrances come in the way. They tirelessly comply with the minimum output-based requirements. That, in a nutshell, is what defines a Dreamcatcher.
  • Your enrollment will run for a period of six months from the time you first made a payment. Our review programs were designed for only a month. However, realizing that work and other distractions prove to be forever present, students will be allowed to enjoy a slower pace of review of up to half a year.
  • On your first day of review, you will receive an email that details the initial steps you will need to take on your end. These may include having to view a training channel over YouTube, or having to refer to certain reading materials, or to familiarize with your very own Dashboard, and the like. Your designated instructor will be making first contact with you, and you will be receiving precise instructions meant for you to conform to your prescribed regimen.
  • Your enrolment covers all the necessary materials you will be needing for the program. There are supplementary offerings that you may wish to avail of as well though, such as the “Writing Manuscript” – the official iEinstein training workbook for the Writing Test, or enrolling in our Blogspot Premium account.
  • Workshops (instructor-driven group coaching sessions) and Bubbles (student-driven sessions) are all available at no added cost for bona-fide enrollees.
  • Practice materials and answer keys can be found under the enrolled student’s own customized Dashboard.
  • As long as one is within the purview of the six-month review effectivity period, one may continue to freely join any of the lectures, group coaching sessions, workshops, and live demonstrations.
  • Results for all of the mock tests appear soon after completion of the said tests, including outputs for the the Writing program, where evaluations are to be expected the same day.
  • If a class in any of the live lectures, coaching sessions, workshops, or live demonstrations are to be missed, these will be recorded correspondingly for the benefit of those unable to attend.
  • If one may not feel a state of readiness by the completion of the program, one may freely re-enroll for another round of review to allow more opportunities at drilling and practice, all with precise professional observation and feedback.
  • We really do not offer any free writing-evaluation services. But we do have “Paid Writing Evaluations” where, for a minimal fee, a student may submit a material for due evaluation by our trained pool of instructors. You may wish to avail of this service first just to test the waters as to what you might expect when you do decide to proceed with our “Writing Program.”
